  • Mathematical Statistics 1 | 7:45 - 9 a.m.,
    An introduction to the theory of probability and a calculus-based introduction to statistical probability models. Topics include probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, transformations of a single variable, and multivariate probability distributions. 
  • Biochemistry 1 | 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.,
    Focus on the structural features of the four major classes of biomolecules and the basic functions of these molecules in cells. Students will also be introduced to many of the techniques used in biochemistry laboratories and begin to learn how to investigate biochemical problems.
  • Calculus 1 | 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.,
    Review of real numbers, analytic geometry, and algebraic and transcendental functions, limits and continuity; definition, interpretations, and applications of the derivative, definite and indefinite integrals, as well as the fundamental theorem of calculus.
  • Introduction to Discrete Mathematics and Proofs | 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.,
    Elementary mathematical logic and types of mathematical proof, including induction and combinatorial arguments. Set theory, relations, functions, cardinality of sets, algorithm analysis, basic number theory, recurrences, and graphs. 
  • Elementary Statistics | 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.,
    Introduction to statistical concepts and methods without the use of calculus. Topics include descriptive statistics, elementary probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, correlation and regression, estimation, and hypothesis testing
  • Introduction to Computer Science | 9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
    Introduction to the discipline of Computer Science with an emphasis on computer programming. Students will learn programming skills and discuss applications of these ideas with weekly laboratories that give students the opportunity for hands-on exploration of the material and the chance to solve real-world problems.
  • Principles of Macroeconomics | 10:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    Basics of Fiscal and Monetary Policy: Inflation, unemployment, and the growth of the economy. 
  • Calculus 2 | 10:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    Applications of the definite integral and techniques of integration of both algebraic and transcendental functions. Indeterminate forms and improper integrals. 
  • Machine Learning Data Pipeline | 10:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    The fundamentals of utilizing machine learning to analyze and process data.
  • Embracing the Challenged Family | 10:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    A course that emphasizes integration of nursing skills and knowledge to facilitate the individuals’ and the families’ meeting severe episodic and chronic health challenges across the life span. Students analyze these critical challenges to individual & family systems in order to provide holistic and comprehensive nursing care given the resources available to the family within their community.
  • Calculus 1 | 10:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.

  • Cloud Computing | 1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
    A survey of cloud computing technologies including network, compute, storage, database, security, and architecture. Students will design, implement, and deploy cloud-based solutions for representative real-world applications.  
  • Field Marine Ecology | 1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
    This is the once-weekly meeting of the travel course that goes to Jamaica after the semester, staying at a marine lab for 10 days. Weekly meetings prepare students to snorkel, to design and conduct experiments, and to learn about the coastal ecology and culture of Jamaica.

Payne Gallery Open | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Payne Gallery
Payne Gallery, in conjunction with the Institute for �����紫ý History and World Heritage, presents An Illustrated History of the �����紫ý Church, an exhibition featuring more than 30 works by �����紫ý alumnus and artist William C. Needs ’62, S’63. Inspired by a 2017 educational tour through Central and Eastern Europe, Needs began using his sketchbook to explore the people, places, conflicts, and moments that shaped the history of the Unitas Fratrum.

Blending historical research with artistic imagination, the exhibition traces the development of the �����紫ý Church from its early Central European roots through the Reformation, periods of persecution, the establishment of missions, and the movement of �����紫ý communities across Europe and the Americas. Each work is accompanied by historical context, inviting visitors to experience �����紫ý history through Needs’ distinctly personal and visual perspective. No charge or registration is required to view the exhibition.

All alumni who have graduated 50 or more years ago are invited to attend brunch. The 50th Reunion class will be honored.

Greyhound Tailgate | 11 a.m. - half hour after the game ends, Practice Field
Alumni and Families may choose to tailgate on their own in our BYO Experience or purchase tickets to a catered, no alcohol tailgate. Both will be held on the practice field. 

• Guidelines and regulations for our BYO Experience are as follows:
• No vehicles permitted on the field.
• No glass allowed (i.e., bottles, jars, containers, ceramic dishes, etc.)
• No charcoal or wood grills permitted.
• No staking into the field.
• Attendees must be 21 years of age or accompanied by their guardian at all times. Security will remove minors not accompanied by their legal guardian. Proper identification is required.
• Alumni Tailgate closes 30 minutes after the conclusion of the football game.
• Tables may be rented (limit two per person):
  • There are no refunds on rented tables.

The catered tailgate will offer a catered tailgate style menu and have tables and chairs available for seating. You may enter and exit the catered tailgate one time during its open hours. Once you exit, you may not return. You will pick up your tickets for the catered tailgate at Check-in in the HUB.

Payne Gallery Open | 12 - 4 p.m., Payne Gallery
