ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ Pre-Service chapters of NAEA and PAEA
All students in Art Education, both undergraduate and graduate are encouraged to become members of the Pennsylvania Art Educators Association (PAEA) and the National Art Educators Association (NAEA). There are special reduced membership rates for pre-service and early career professionals. One membership fee will provide membership to both PAEA and NAEA.
NAEA and PAEA are not only for K12 classroom art educators - both organizations have multiple divisions, such as: Museum Educators, Media & Design Interest Groups, Higher Education, and more. Some of the many benefits of membership include:
- Participate in professional development workshops by arts educators and the opportunity to present workshops of your own!
- Network with art teachers and museum educators from PA and the Nationally
- Present at the PAEA and NAEA conferences and events
- Connect with member of the ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ community through arts-related service activities and events
- Work with local schools and arts organizations to develop teaching skills and gain valuable experience
- ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ has a chapter of NAEA/PAEA
