Are you pursuing—or planning to pursue—your MSN at ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½? Take your education even further with a second graduate degree in business administration. Our MSN/MBA program is designed for future nurse administrators and healthcare leaders who want to combine advanced nursing expertise with strategic business skills. This post-MSN option allows you to build on your nursing coursework with five (5) additional MBA courses that focus on leadership, finance, and organizational strategy in healthcare.

Admission Requirements

The ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ MSN/MBA dual-degree program, designed as a post-MSN option for nurse administrators, accepts applications on a rolling basis and offers six start dates throughout the year. Students who have completed or are completing their MSN at ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ may apply to add the MBA as a second degree, further developing leadership and business expertise for healthcare settings.

Students who have already completed the MSN in Nursing Administration at ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ and wish to pursue the MBA typically must have earned their MSN within three years of applying to the MBA program.

  • Completion of the online application
  • MSN GPA of 3.3 (current MSN students or graduates)
  • Official post-secondary transcripts
  • Active licensure to practice nursing in the State of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure by endorsement
  • Interview with the Program Directors of the MSN and MBA programs
