Scholarship Funds

The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to deserving students at ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½. Preference should be given (in this order) to students interested in pursuing a degree in business, military veterans or active service members, or dependents of parents or guardians who are active, retired, or veterans of the military.


The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial aid to undergraduate students whose parents or guardians are active, retired, or veterans of law enforcement or the military.


The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to an undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a junior or senior student studying economics and business who realizes the importance and value of small businesses in our economy and is willing to take the risk of establishing such a business. Additional preference will be given to a student who is a U.S. military veteran, although this is not a required preference. The student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average to qualify for the scholarship. Should no student be identified that fully meets these criteria, the scholarship should be awarded to a student who is most closely aligned with the purpose of the Fund.


Brigadier General & Mrs. Clewell Scholarship Fund

This income is to be awarded on the basis of need as determined by the Financial Aid Office, to students selected in the following order of priority: 

  1. A son or daughter whose Army parent died while on active duty or in retired status 
  2. The son or daughter of an active or retired Army parent 
  3. The son or daughter of a military parent who died while on active duty or in retired status 
  4. The son or daughter of an active or retired military parent other than the Army

In the year when it is impossible to identify a needy student from any of the above categories, or if the income exceeds the established needs of the recipients, the President of ÐÔÊÀ½ç´«Ã½ will, at his discretion, return the income to the principal, set the income aside for distribution in a future year, or distribute the income in accordance with the College's established financial aid procedure.
